บทคัดย่อ
จากการดำเนินการจัดทำประมวลการสอนของโรงเรียนนำเสนอผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ที่ผ่านมา ยังไม่เกิดเป็นรูปธรรม เนื่องจากเกิดปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความล่าช้าในการดำเนินงาน ต้องมีการรวบรวมประมวลการสอนจากหลายที่และต้องส่งผ่านข้อมูลหลายขั้นตอน ประมวลการสอนที่ได้มาไม่ได้อยู่ในรูปแบบเดียวกัน ทำให้เป็นภารงานหนักของผู้ที่มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบที่ต้องจัดการ ผู้ดำเนินโครงการจึงมีแนวความคิดที่ว่า หากจะจัดการกับประมวลการสอนจำนวนมาก จะต้องจัดทำระบบที่มิใช่เพียงการนำเสนอข้อมูลผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ตามปกติ ระบบที่จะจัดทำควรจะมี Feature บางอย่างเข้ามาช่วยในการจัดการ และเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ใช้งานให้มากที่สุด
ระบบจัดการประมวลการสอนออนไลน์ โรงเรียนสาธิตแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาการศึกษา จัดทำในรูปแบบของ Web Application พัฒนาโดยใช้ระบบจัดการเนื้อหา (Content Management System) ที่ชื่อ Drupal ซึ่งพัฒนาด้วยภาษา PHP ทำงานอยู่บน Apache และใช้ MySQL เป็นฐานข้อมูล มี Module ต่างๆ ที่นำมาใช้งาน เพื่อให้ตรงกับความต้องการของระบบ
ผลที่ได้จากพัฒนาระบบจัดการประมวลการสอนออนไลน์ คือ ได้ระบบที่ช่วยในการจัดการกับประมวลการสอน ทำให้ประมวลการสอนอยู่ในรูปแบบเดียวกันและถูกเก็บรวบรวมอย่างเป็นระบบ ลดขั้นตอนการนำประมวลการสอนขึ้นสู่เว็บไซต์ ลดภาระงานของผู้ดูแลระบบ และนอกจากนี้ผู้ใช้งานยังได้รับความสะดวกรวดเร็วในการค้นหาข้อมูลประมวลการสอนอีกด้วย
Abstract
Since the process of putting KUS’ course syllabuses on the web site is still far from finish because of many problems in the process. One of the problems is the process of collecting course syllabuses from many places that has many steps to follow. The other problem is that the collected course syllabuses are all in different formats, and it becomes a huge burden for system administrator. As a result, the author realizes that KUS needs a system to manage all of its course syllabuses, which is not just the means to put all of the files on web server. In fact, the system should provide some features to help the users to manage hundreds of course syllabuses easily and effectively.
KUS Online Course Syllabus System utilizes Drupal, an open source modular content management system written in PHP, which runs on Apache web server and uses MySQL as database engine. The system is developed by installing contributed modules, customizing their options and modifying some codes in order to meet the desired functionalities.
The development of KUS Online Course Syllabus System results in a system that helps managing course syllabuses easily and effectively by keeping all of them in the same format in a well-organized way. The system dramatically reduces the time to put course syllabuses on the web site, it also reduces administrative burdens and, at the same time, provides benefits to the users who are now capable of searching all course syllabuses in full-text.
