บทคัดย่อ
กรมควบคุมโรค กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ได้มีการเก็บรวบรวมโรคต่างๆ โดยแต่ละหน่วยงานจะรับผิดชอบ การเก็บข้อมูล และการดูแลฐานข้อมูลของตนเอง ส่งผลให้ฐานข้อมูลอยู่อย่างกระจัดกระจายและหลากหลายรูปแบบ เมื่อผู้บริหารต้องการใช้ข้อมูลมาคิดวิเคราะห์ ทำนาย หรือเฝ้าระวังโรคจึงทำได้ยาก เนื่องจากไม่มีความเชื่อมโยงกันของฐานข้อมูล นอกจากนี้ยังต้องสูญเสียทั้งเวลา และทรัพยากรในการจัดทำทั้งรายงานประจำ และรายงานเฉพาะกิจ เป็นต้น
โครงงานการศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระนี้ จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการรวบรวมฐานข้อมูลของโรคต่างๆ ที่กระจัดกระจายกันอยู่มาออกแบบจัดทำคลังข้อมูล และนำมาวิเคราะห์ ออกรายงานประจำและเฉพาะกิจ เพื่อช่วยในการสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหารและผู้เกี่ยวข้องกับโครงการ ทั้งยังรองรับการทำงานเป็นระบบเว็บเบส เพื่อให้สามารถเข้าใช้งานได้ง่าย และสะดวกรวดเร็ว นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถนำมาเป็นมาตรฐานในการจัดเก็บรวบรวมคลังข้อมูลต่อไปในอนาคตอีกด้วย
ผลจากการดำเนินงานศึกษาค้นคว้าด้วยตนเองในโครงงานนี้ ทำให้สามารถลดภาระการทำงานของผู้ปฏิบัติการดูแลระบบ โดยข้อมูลที่ได้จากระบบมีความถูกต้องน่าเชื่อถือ 100% และผู้ใช้งานทั่วไปสามารถทำงานได้สะดวกรวดเร็ว รายงานที่ได้จากระบบสามารถตอบสนองต่อความต้องการมากขึ้น และข้อมูลที่ได้จากระบบมีความทันสมัย โดยผู้ใช้งานมีความพึงพอใจต่อระบบถึง 85.62%
Abstract
Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health has collected data on each disease. Each agency is responsible for data collection and the maintenance of their database system. As a result, database is scattered and can be found in various forms. It is difficult for executives to use the information for efficient disease trend projection and for the disease surveillance purposes due to the lack of database connections. Apart from the difficulties mentioned, this also causes the unnecessary time consumption and resources in reporting processes.
This independent study project aims to collect the scattered database of diseases into one consolidated information warehouse and to analyze the database consolidated to produce regular and ad hoc reports in order to enable the system to better assist the decision making processes of the executives and project related personals as well as to support the web based system to facilitate the prompt and practical utility of the system. The developed data collecting system can be further adopted as a standardized information warehouse system in the future
The results from this study will enable the reduce workloads of information system operators. The information gained from the system is 100% accurate and user friendly. The reports derived from the system can better respond to needs of the users with updated information and system. 85.62% of the users find the system satisfactory.
