บทคัดย่อ
เนื่องจากในปัจจุบันการศึกษาเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญในการพัฒนาประเทศ ดังนั้นการนำข้อมูลต่างๆ ที่มีอยู่ในสถานศึกษามาวิเคราะห์เพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่สถานศึกษา และในภาพรวมของประเทศนับเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญมาก
โครงการคลังข้อมูลอัฉริยะด้านการศึกษา มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่สำคัญ 4 ประการ คือ หนึ่งเพื่อศึกษา, วางรูปแบบ และออกแบบคลังข้อมูลอัจฉริยด้านการศึกษา, สองเพื่อจัดทำคลังข้อมูลของสถานศึกษา, สามเพื่อกำหนดดัชนีชี้วัดทางการศึกษาทั้ง 4 ด้าน และสี่เพื่อกำหนดรหัสมาตรฐานในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลด้านการศึกษา
ซึ่งถ้าโครงการนี้สำเร็จลุล่วงตามวัตถุประสงค์ ก็จะมีส่วนช่วยให้สถานศึกษาของประเทศไทยได้มีเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการจัดการข้อมูลต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสถานศึกษา เพื่อที่จะสามารถนำข้อมูลเหล่านี้ไปใช้ในการวิเคราะห์เพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่สถานศึกษา มีศูนย์กลางข้อมูลด้านการศึกษาเพื่อใช้ในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล สามารถเปรียบเทียบข้อมูลระหว่างสถานศึกษาได้ ซึ่งจะก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่สถานศึกษา และในภาพรวมของประเทศ
Abstract
The business intelligence is not only in the domain of business but also in the education domain. Despite its name it can be vital for education institutions as well as for businesses. This study presents some views of business intelligence in education. There is the possibility to extend the traditional business intelligence, concerned mainly with sales and regions and education component connecting the performance to education and learning. In this work, we aim to study, generate the system structure, and design the intelligence data warehouse for education. This study also has its aim to create the data warehouse for educational institutes, and to specify the indicators for four aspects on education. Furthermore, this work would indicate the standard code for educational information exchange.
The outcome of this project would enable the educational institutes in Thailand to well manage their related information more effectively. They can further utilize and analyze their information with this system. Educational institutes can establish their central information center to exchange, compare and contrast information among educational partners beneficial to the institutions and the country in general.
