บทคัดย่อ
โปรแกรมโอเพ่นซอร์สถูกพัฒนาขึ้นเป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งการพัฒนาที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ได้ทำการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ดังนั้นโปรแกรมโอเพ่นซอร์สจึงสามารถรองรับความต้องการของผู้ใช้งานได้เฉพาะส่วนและเฉพาะกลุ่มเท่านั้น ไม่สามารถรองรับความต้องการได้ครบถ้วน ซึ่งโครงการนี้จึงดำเนินการเพื่อทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาโปรแกรมโอเพ่นซอร์สแบบต่อยอด โดยจะเริ่มจากกลุ่มโปรแกรมเชิงสารสนเทศก่อน การดำเนินงานของโครงการนี้จะเริ่มด้วยการจัดกลุ่มของโปรแกรมโอเพ่นซอร์สซึ่งจะเน้นเชิงสารสนเทศ ต่อจากนั้นจะคัดเลือกโปรแกรมในแต่ละกลุ่มเพื่อนำมาทดสอบ ซึ่งการคัดเลือกโปรแกรมนั้นจะอ้างอิงจากการจัดกลุ่มและจัดลำดับที่มีอยู่ในเว็บไซต์sourceforge.net และ freshmeat.net เมื่อคัดเลือกได้แล้วจะทำการทดสอบตามเทมเพลตที่ได้ออกแบบไว้ซึ่งการทดสอบจะพิจารณาจากฟังก์ชั่นที่มีความจำเป็นของโปรแกรมโอเพ่นซอร์สในแต่ละกลุ่ม จากการดำเนินงานของโครงการนี้จะได้กลุ่มของโปรแกรมซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 5 กลุ่มคือ Project Management, Calendar, Resource Booking, Time Tracking และ Workgroup Collaboration และจากนั้นจะได้เทมเพลตที่ใช้ในการทดสอบซึ่งสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับ การทดสอบโปรแกรมอื่น ๆ ได้ และจากการดำเนินการทดสอบจะได้โปรแกรมที่ผู้ทำโครงการนี้แนะนำในแต่ละกลุ่มดังนี้ Gantt Project ในกลุ่มของ Project Management, WebCalendar ใน กลุ่มของ Calendar, phpScheduleIt ในกลุ่มของ Resource Booking, dotProject ในกลุ่มของ Time Tracking และ PHProjekt ของกลุ่ม Wrokgroup Collaboration
Abstract
Many Open source programs have been developed but there are no continuous improvements. Therefore the existing Open Source programs can only satisfy a specific portion of users, it cannot completely satisfy all criteria. Thus this project will initiate the further development of Open Source programs by firstly dealing with IT related programs. The processes of this project will begin with categorizing IT related Open Source programs. Then a program from each category will be selected for tests. The selection of the programs will be based on the category and the order the programs are in at sourceforge.net and freshmeat.net.. After the selections are made, tests will commence according to the pre-designed template. The tests will consider the necessary functions of Open Source programs from each group. From the processes of this project, programs will be divided into 5 categories which are: Project Management, Calendar, Resource Booking, Time Tracking and Workgroup Collaboration. A template will then be created for the tests which can be adapted to other program tests. And from the processes, this project group have arrived at these suggestions in these categories: Gantt Project in the category of Project Management, Web Calendar in the category of Calendar, phpScheduleIt in the category of Resource Booking, dotProject in the category of Time Tracking and Tracking and PHProjekt in the category of Workgroup Collaboration.
