บทคัดย่อ
โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา วิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบถึงเทคโนโลยีการจัดเก็บ และสำรองข้อมูลสำหรับองค์กร โดยเน้นไปที่ระบบ SAN และ NAS เป็นหลัก เพื่อช่วยในการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้เทคโนโลยีต่าง ๆ ในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจได้อย่างถูกต้อง คุ้มค่า และเหมาะสม
เป้าหมายของโครงการนี้ได้แก่ ศึกษา นำเสนอหลักการ และการจัดแบ่งประเภทการจัดเก็บข้อมูลสำรองสำหรับองค์กร วิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบผลิตภัณฑ์ SAN และ NAS ในท้องตลาดเพื่อเป็นแนวทางให้กับผู้ที่ต้องการใช้งานได้เลือกใช้อย่างเหมาะสม และจัดทำโปรแกรมเพื่อใช้เป็นเครื่องมือเปรียบเทียบ เสนอแนะ และตัดสินใจ สำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการใช้ระบบการจัดเก็บข้อมูลสำหรับองค์กร ได้ตรงหรือใกล้เคียงความต้องการ
ผลการดำเนินงานของโครงการ อย่างแรกคือ หลักการในการแบ่งระดับ Storage ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระดับ เช่น Entry Level สำหรับธุรกิจขนาดเล็ก, Midrange Level สำหรับธุรกิจขนาดกลาง และ Enterprise สำหรับองค์กรหรือศูนย์ข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ โดยใช้หลักเกณฑ์ในแง่ความจุ และหน่วยความจำของระบบมาเป็นตัวตัดสิน, อย่างที่สองคือ แผนผังช่วยตัดสินใจเลือกใช้ระบบ ซึ่งใช้วิธีการสอบถามจากผู้ที่ต้องการใช้งานระบบจัดเก็บข้อมูล และคำถามเกี่ยวกับความต้องการเลือกซื้อผลิตภัณฑ์ ที่ถูกถามบ่อย ๆ สุดท้ายคือ โปรแกรมระบบช่วยตัดสินใจเลือกใช้ Storage สำหรับองค์กร นำเสนอในลักษณะเว็บแอพพลิเคชั่น ผลที่ได้จากโปรแกรม ได้แก่ คำแนะนำในการเลือกซื้อ Storage และตารางเปรียบเทียบผลิตภัณฑ์ยี่ห้อต่าง ๆ ที่จำหน่ายในท้องตลาด
Abstract
The objective of this project is to carry out a comparative study of data storage technologies, mainly emphasized on SAN and NAS products on the market, in order to assist IT manager in obtaining the most beneficial data storage system for the enterprise.
The project is expected to present concepts and types of data storage as well as an analytical, comparative study between SAN and NAS technologies as a guideline for appropriate decision making. A program will also be developed at this extent to provide a tool for effective comparisons, suggestions and decision making to ensure that the individual studied technologies meet all, or most of the requirements for successful implementation.
In this study, storage has been classified into 3 levels, these are Entry Level for small business, Midrange Level for medium business and Enterprise Level for enterprise and large information center, by using the criterion of the capacity and the memory of the decision making system. The second is decision making chart for choosing appropriate system by using questionnaires from those who want to use data storage system and the popular questions about product choosing requirement. And the last is decision making system program for data storage system for enterprise of which it presents in Web Application. The results of this program are the suggestion in storage choosing and the comparative table of the variety brand of products on the market.
