บทคัดย่อ
มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ได้ให้บริการการใช้งานผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตที่มีชื่อเรียกว่า “นนทรีเน็ต” แก่อาจารย์ นิสิต และบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ปัจจุบันมหาวิทยาลัยมีนโยบายการใช้สารสนเทศในการบริหารจัดการงานด้านต่างๆ ทั้งในด้านการเรียนการสอน การวิจัย และการบริหาร โดยเน้นที่จะให้มหาวิทยาลัยก้าวเข้าสู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยอิเล็กทรอนิกส์หรือที่เรียกว่า e-University
การพัฒนาระบบรายงานข้อมูลสรุปส่วนบุคคลบนเว็บ เป็นระบบที่เสริมเพิ่มเติมข้อมูลที่จำเป็นต่อผู้ใช้โดยเน้นข้อมูลข่าวสารส่วนตัวต่างๆ ระบบนี้สนับสนุนให้บุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัย เกษตรศาสตร์เข้ามาใช้ระบบข่าวสารของมหาวิทยาลัยได้ง่ายขึ้น เนื่องจากจะมีข้อมูลที่มีประโยชน์เฉพาะบุคคล เช่น ข้อมูลประวัติส่วนบุคคล ข้อมูลผลงานตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการ และข้อมูลเหล่านี้ได้มาจากฐานข้อมูลบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัย ฐานข้อมูลผลงานตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการ (pindex) และฐานข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลที่เพิ่มเติมขึ้น ผลของการพัฒนาระบบนี้ทำให้ผู้ใช้ระบบซึ่งเป็นบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ มีระบบข้อมูลเฉพาะส่วนบุคคลที่สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงแก้ไขข้อมูล รวมทั้งเพิ่มเติมข้อมูลประวัติได้ด้วยตนเอง ซึ่งได้ข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องและทันสมัย รวมทั้งสนับสนุนระบบประเมินผลการปฏิบัติงานเพื่อเลื่อนขั้นเงินเดือนได้ข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องและรวดเร็วมากยิ่งขึ้น
การออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบรายงานข้อมูลสรุปบุคคลใช้รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมของเว็บแอพพลิเคชั่นแบบไคลแอนต์แบบเว็บบาง (Thin Web Client) ซึ่งมีลักษณะการทำงานของเว็บเซิร์ฟเวอร์ โดยใช้งานผ่านทางเว็บบราวเซอร์ และใช้สคริปต์ของ PHP ในการเขียนคำสั่งบนฝั่งเซิร์ฟเวอร์ และจากการสำรวจความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ระบบกับผู้ใช้งานระบบจำนวน 20 คน พบว่ามีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.16 จากสเกล 5 มีระดับความพึงพอใจที่ดี ผลของโครงการนี้ยังสนับสนุนมหาวิทยาลัยให้ก้าวเข้าสู่ e-University ของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ได้อีกทางหนึ่ง
Abstract
Kasetsart University provides the intranet call “NontriNet” to teachers, students and staffs of the university. The university’s main policy is to use information for management, learning, and research with an expectation to be an e-university.
The Personal Profile Reporting System is an added personal profile system which necessary for each user by emphasis on their own personal profile database. This system will also support students, lecturers and staff of university to get into university information database easier than the current system. The new system will provide useful information such as personal profile, research information which a user can get them from current personal database system, publication index database system (pindex) and new personal database system. With this system, users who are students, lecturers, and staff can access e-mail system such as personal profile, publication index information etc., by retrieving information from the personal and publication index database of the university. The system will also help users (staff) develop their own personal database which can be updated by themselves so that the profile is accurate and available for the users. The system also provides staff performance evaluation system of promotion system which is more correct and faster to access the content.
The Design and Development of the system using client thin web application technology which will be online on network system, will provides user interface on web browser and also uses PHP for programming languages. From survey, we found that the users were highly satisfied with the average score of 4.16 in 5. Furthermore, this system will also be the way to support the University for reaching the target of being
e-University in the future.
