บทคัดย่อ
ทางผู้จัดทำได้ผ่านประสบการณ์การเดินทางไปเรียนที่มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์มาทุกวัน ทำให้ทราบถึงปัญหาในการเดินทางและความจำเป็นในการย้ายไปอาศัยในหอพักใกล้เคียงรอบวิทยาเขต การหาหอพักหรือคอนโดที่เหมาะสมใกล้มหาวิทยาลัยจะช่วยให้นักศึกษาเดินทางไปมหาวิทยาลัยได้ อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังคงมีปัญหาในการหาเพื่อนร่วมห้อง นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่หาข้อมูลจากเว็บไซต์หรือติดต่อโดยตรงกับหอพัก ส่วนการหารูมเมทก็มักจะติดต่อเพื่อนหรือคนรู้จักที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในพื้นที่เดียวกัน บางกรณีที่บางคนแทบจะไม่สามารถหาเพื่อนร่วมห้องได้ และไม่มีความกล้าพอที่จะติดต่อกับคนอื่นๆ ที่พวกเขาไม่เคยรู้จักมาก่อน นอกจากนี้ โครงงานของฉันคือการสร้าง KU Dorm-Mate ซึ่งเป็นเว็บแอปพลิเคชันสำหรับนักศึกษา มก. เพื่อรับข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับหอพักรอบมหาวิทยาลัย รวมทั้งฟังก์ชันที่ช่วยให้นักเรียนค้นหาหรือจับคู่เพื่อนร่วมห้องที่เหมาะสมกับตนเอง สุดท้ายนี้ KU Dorm-Mate สามารถช่วยนักเรียนให้ได้รับความสะดวกสบาย ปลอดภัย และเชื่อถือได้มากยิ่งขึ้น
Abstract
I have been through an experience in traveling to study at Kasetsart University every day which made us know the problem in traveling and the need of moving into living in nearby dorms around the campus. Finding a suitable dormitory or condo near the university will help the student to travel to the campus. However, there is still a problem about finding a roommate. Most students find information from the website or contact directly to the dormitory. As for finding a roommate, they usually contact their friends or acquaintances who are studying in the same area. However, some of them are almost unable to find a roommate and do not have enough courage to contact other people they did not know before. Furthermore, my project is to create KU Dorm-Mate which is a web application for the KU students to get information about the dormitories around the university including a function to help the students to find or match their suitable roommates. Lastly, KU Dorm-Mate can assist the students to get more comfortable, convenient, secure and reliable.
